Dry fluffy powder and a lot of it. So bring your fat skis. Ski school is just down the street a fourth of a mile. There is a shuttle bus that can access or just run kids down in your car. Skiing down to the ski school isn’t advised because the trail to go there is not great for beginners. If you want to ski back from ski school and Sundown Lift it is a breeze on the Slow Poke cat track run. Even at night while it isn’t totally lighted up you can see good enough to ski back to the rooms from the night skiing area. Powder Country is the best way to discover the side country skiing and it is serviced by the Powder Mountain shuttle that stops on the Powder Mountain road state highway 158 at about halfway up to collect skiers who have permagrin. Guides are great to explore that area with at first because you can get lost. We are willing to draft a note for your boss to say you are snowed in if you need one. Just wear sunscreen so your raccoon eyes don’t blow it for you. The nightlife is dull at Powder Mountain but if you want to find some in Ogden there is a great place to start on 25th street. It is the historic district of Ogden which was an old railroad town and has a colorful history. Like Bourbon Street but Utah style. Antiques and shops are joined by bars and restaurants for the four block walking district between walk ave and WASHINGTON Blvd on 2500 south in Ogden. Nearby will be the perfect kids spot for fun-Solomon Center. Arcade, bowling, movies, climbing, surfing, and indoor skydiving. Epic adventure all will enjoy. Good food there, too! While in this area hit Recreation Outlet a favorite sporting gear shop and don’t forget to go to the basement where good deals are! Across Washington from the Solomon Center. Set on just over an acre of land, this home provides our guests with a spacious, beautiful, and comfortable stay. This custom-built country home is like no other! The interior of the home was just renovated in the summer of 2017. When we started the project our goal was to maintain the original country theme and to incorporate several modern and contemporary elements. We are pleased with the result, we hope you like it as well. The décor and furniture have been carefully handpicked to fit the unique style and character of our Stone House. Many of the décor elements you will see around the home were brought from Chile, Ecuador, Peru, India, our State of Florida and of course from the great local antique markets of Cache Valley. The kitchen is spacious and beautiful. It has white cabinets, glass doors, new and large granite countertops, and a great layout. It was imperative to us that preparing, cooking and serving meals to large groups would not only be easy but enjoyable. The kitchen is equipped with the new ELECTROLUX PRO LINE appliances and is stocked with cookware and dish-ware to cater to 30 guests. We know that with all the families the kitchen is an important gathering place so a lot of detail was placed in this area. The island is large and can easily seat 6 people with additional 4-5 seating at the breakfast nook. The dining room seats comfortably 15 people. You'll love the customized lighting fixtures in the kitchen as they bring together the elements of new and old. The living room was designed and furnished to maximize the comfort of our guests while spending time visiting with each other, conversing, and relaxing. Fifteen people can be comfortably seated in the living room with plenty of space to bring extra chairs if needed. There are three other seating areas in the home. These areas were created to provide each age or family group with their own space to visit, play games and get caught up with life, or simply run away from the crowd to read a book. There is also a small but comfortable office at the top level. This room provides private working space to those working travelers who always need to be connected. (You know who they are!) The new theater room in the basement will be a hit with kids, teens, and adults. Comfortable leather recliners, large bean bags, treat bar space, a stage and layered lightning will provide great family entertainment. Get the family together, not only to watch movies but also to play video games or even to put up a family talent show! The brand new bathroom/laundry room in the basement has a nice modern shower with a cool rain shower fixture and glass doors. The Laundry room is equipped with double washer and dryer sets. We know how laundry can quickly get out of control when families get together, so we wanted to make sure "the family dirty laundry" stays clean and will not get in your way in enjoying your stay. Other small and unique details of the re-designing and decorating of this home are the "Ice Cream Shoppe Room", the "Aviator Room" and the "Pokémon Room". These rooms will make the stay for any kid (young or old) memorable and fun. Besides the Master Suite, the home has 3 other bedrooms with queen beds intended to provide comfort and privacy to our older guests. There are USB outlets in each bedroom. Each bed in this house is very comfortable. All mattresses and pillows have hypoallergenic covers for our most sensitive guests. Mattresses are new and are of high-quality memory foam. Bedding is new and comfortable, each bed has a blanket and a comforter. There is additional bedding in the closets for the sleepers, convertible bean bags, and futons if needed. (Please inform us if additional bedding will be required) There is also plenty of parking space for 6 -8 cars. There is also space for a boat, ATVs or other toys! Our kids love exploring the outside, playing manhunt, hide and seek, ultimate frisbee and building a fire in the back yard. The exterior offers a wonderland of exploring over 20 acres through the dense oak trees or a relaxing dip in the hot tub on the wrap-around deck. The surrounding property also comes complete with plenty of space for a volleyball game or a competitive match on the pickleball court.

The Lily House is located 10 minutes south of Logan, UT, in the heart of Wellsville, Utah. The Lily House is only 15 minutes from Utah State University, 5 minutes from the America West Heritage Center, and a short walk across the street to visit the Wellsville Historic Tabernacle and city park with a splash pad. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, and DVD library. Children will enjoy the large loft area, equipped with a twin bed, and plenty of room to play! History of The Lily House: The Lily House was built in 1875. It has been well cared for and updated for comfortable lodging. This property, which is listed on the National Registry of Historical Places, was the original Wellsville Relief Society Meeting House. In 1875 the Relief Society was the women's organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was responsible for assisting those in need and aiding new settlers to Cache Valley. The Lily House derives its name from the Sego Lily, which was selected as the emblem of Relief Society because of its usefulness in sustaining life in the early pioneer settlements. Cache Valley was originally settled by pioneers in 1856. Wellsville, then known as Maughan's Fort, was the first settlement in the valley. A tabernacle was erected between 1902 and 1908 and is located directly across the street from the Lily House. Step back in time when you stay in this well-preserved historical home.
